Event is coming on Feb. 28 and Feb. 29 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Iowa City
The Iowa City Kiwanis Antique Show was originated in 1986 as a replacement show for a faltering flea market that bit the dust and was the show has been held in 3 locations, first at the National Guard Armory until 2002, (remember the overhead ceiling blower that made all that noise, then to Regina High School for a number of years (remember the treacherous load in and load out situation? Ugh!, and now at the Johnson County Fairgrounds (much better situation, great parking, easy load in and load out, and good lighting and temperature controlled.
The show welcomes all to attend and to enjoy the lunch stand provided by the Kiwanis Club.
The fairgrounds at Iowa City (located just off the Avenue of the Saints at Exit 89 will be the location of the 34th almost Annual Iowa City Kiwanis Club Benefit Antique Show. The show will be on Friday February 28th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday February 29th from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Admission is just $4 and benefits various local charities and worthwhile causes.
