Lombard, IL. May 5--9, 2020: For the first time in 35 years, the Annual North American Vintage Decoy & Sporting Collectible Show, hosted by the Midwest Decoy Collectors Association (MDCA), has a brand new home.  The 55th annual show will take place May 5-9, 2020 at the beautiful Westin Lombard hotel in Lombard, IL.  This new property features every amenity one could hope for including spacious guest rooms for room-to-room trading Tuesday through Thursday, and state of the art exhibit space ideal for the two-day Guetta & Deter auction on Thursday and Friday, and the two-day dealer show on Friday and Saturday.  This is North America’s largest gathering of decoy and sporting collectible enthusiasts, and features a variety of opportunities to learn about and trade in this uniquely American folk art.  Attendees will find more than 30,000 items for sale through nearly 300 dealers.  MDCA members from across the U.S. and Canada offer a wide range of items including sporting art, fishing lures, duck calls, and both antique and contemporary working decoys.  The event is a unique opportunity to network with the world’s leading authorities on sporting collectibles. Admission to the Friday and Saturday Exhibit Hall event is only $5.00 per adult and admission is free for children. In addition to exhibitor tables, a number of displays and seminars will be open to the public.  Members provide both carving and painting demonstrations during the show. Membership in the MDCA is only $25 per family and includes free admission to the Friday and Saturday event in the Grand Ballroom.

 The Midwest Decoy Collectors Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to collect and preserve the history of the decoy as original American folk art.
