The Iowa City Kiwanis Club had its 34th almost-annual Antique Show on February 28th and 29th. The leap year edition of the show featured about 30 antique dealers from a multi-state area, and results regarding dealer sales were excellent. Attendance was a bit less this year than in the past, but dealer sales were very pleasing. The show is the major fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club which supports various area civic causes and the like. The plans for next year’s show are already in the making and a date will be selected soon.

Thank you to all the dealers who made this show a success and to all the buyers and customers who arrived from near and far.

The next event at the Johnson County Fairgrounds is ACKERMAN’S JULY 4TH STARS & STRIPES ANTIQUE MARKET on July 4th. For information, please contact Ackermans at (319) 430-3737.
