On Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7, 2019, the Vinton Antiques & Flea Market will take place at the Benton County Fairgrounds, 1801 2nd Avenue in Vinton, Iowa.  Hours for the both days of the sale are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

I recently spoke to Bev Witmer, organizer of the event, who said the event will take place “rain or shine” and there are plenty of vendors lined up for the two-day event, and there is room for more! “We have inside and outside booths available –there’s lots of space available,” Bev said.

Vendors will be bringing a huge selection of metal items, yard art, antiques, furniture, toys, signs and advertising items and flea market treasures, Bev said.

She said that Tim had previously organized a Spring antiques flea market that was held at Evergreen Cemetery, but the event didn’t take place this year due to the death of Tim’s wife. Bev wanted to hold the event and started planning for this September sale.

The two-day antiques and flea market will be held at the Benton County Fairgrounds, 1801 2nd Avenue in Vinton. Admission is free and food vendors (including breakfast) will be available. More information is at (319) 472-4785.
