To our participating dealers, our antique show attendees, other readers of this publication, as well as our many, many dealer friends and acquaintances we have made over the many years:

Because of the virus outbreak of recent that we all are aware of, we have made a decision on how to handle the annual ACKERMAN’S JULY 4TH STARS & STRIPES ANTIQUE MARKET at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

The bottom line is that the market is almost 4 months away and that unless it is prohibited by the state or other governing body to have a “public gathering” at that time, the show will be held.

Each of our participating dealers who have sent in their money to date will be receiving a correspondence outlining our optimism and hope that the show will be held at that time. In the event that the show will not transpire those dealers will be made aware of the contingency plan.

We appreciate all of our dealers who have done the July 4th Show over the years, and yes, we are still gladly taking contracts for the show and there are spaces available, both indoors and outdoors.

Again, Ackermans are hopeful and optimistic regarding having ACKERMAN’S JULY 4TH STARS & STRIPES ANTIQUE MARKET at the Johnson County Fairgrounds at Iowa City on July 4th.
