With just about a month to go, Ackerman’s Iowa City Flea-Tique market will soon be here. The Ackerman’s Iowa City Flea-Tique market will be held at the Johnson County Fairgrounds located just off of the Avenue of the Saints (Exit 89) at the southwest edge of Iowa City will be location for the 4th annual will be in session on Sunday May 21st from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Dealer sign-up is in full swing and many great dealers will be set up and selling all types of antiques and collectables.

Flea-Tique was started in 2014 to fill the area void of shows in May/June of each year and has been successful in doing just that.  Attendance is excellent with customers, both collectors and dealers as well as the perpetual accumulators come from a wide area to purchase what is offered at Flea-tique.

Dealers will be featuring lots of antique furniture, primitives, farm primitives, outdoor garden items, silver, coins, artwork, advertising items, paper and ephemera, kitchenwares, glassware, antique lighting, old books, stoneware, country items, and lots and lots more!  Dealers will be set up in the 3 buildings on the fairgrounds traditionally used for antique shows as well as outside around the buildings.

A great lunch stand will be available and managed by Jerry and Marge Sweeting of Riverside, Iowa and they will be serving up some delicious food of all types. The lunch stand is directly in front of Building C

Parking is plentiful, both to the north on the paved parking lot as well as the multi-acre parking area to the south of the "main campus" of dealers set up in and around the 3 buildings used for Ackerman’s Iowa City Flea-Tique market.

Parking attendants will be on site to direct vehicles to the lots.  Admission is just $3 per person.
